Wedding Wednesdays: Mr. and Mrs. Manganiello

Happy Wedding Wednesday! We've been waiting all week to share some tidbits from the Manganiello wedding now that the photos are out. And if you don't know who we're talking about, just Google the hottest couple of 2015. Sofia Vergara (Modern Family star) and Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike star) threw the most fabulous party-filled weekend in Palm Beach, Florida in preparation for their big day! Celebrity friends (think Modern Family costar Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Hot Pursuit counterpart Reese Witherspoon and Magic Mike's Channing Tatum, to name a few) and tons of family were present to raise a glass to the newlyweds when they tied the knot Sunday, November 12th.

The entire extraordinary affair was put together by none-other than our favorite wedding planner, Mindy Weiss! The weekend kicked off with a family welcome cocktail party on the beach Friday night. Saturday was spent lounging by the pool for that last minute sun-kissed look. Saturday night's rehearsal dinner took place at the Brazilian Court Hotel, followed by a 'cocktails and dessert' party at The Breakers. Tables were decked out with red roses and the cutest cocktail napkins that read, "He had me at Hola, 11.12.15". Manganiello even busted out a rendition of Guns 'N Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine" for his almost-bride, giving her a smooch during an instrumental break. What could be sweeter? And we know he's got the moves so we can only imagine how entertaining this was.

The ceremony was held Sunday evening at The Breakers. Cascades of white roses, orchids and hydrangeas (by florist Jeff Leatham) transformed the indoor setting into a brilliant wedding wonderland. We are in tears over how beautiful this is. We could not be happier for these two!

Sofia's much-anticipated Zuhair Murad couture wedding dress stole the show, of course. The design? Well the dress is a white strapless silk-tulle mermaid gown with a sweetheart neck, 3D bodice detailing, a beaded pearl belt and an enormous detachable skirt. And get this—the dress carries over 17 pounds of sequins and pearls combined alone! This nifty two-in-one style meant Sofia could have a curve-hugging mermaid silhouette without sacrificing the volume and drama of a ball gown.

The reception was held in the hotel's Venetian Ballroom, where nearly 400 guests celebrated the couple's wedding weekend finale. Joe and Sofia danced to Frank Sinatra's version of “The Way You Look Tonight" for their first dance. Swoon! The rest of the night was reserved for tearing up the dance floor, plus a surprise performance by Pitbull. We hope Mr. Worldwide killed this special performance!

Another element that was out-of-this-world was the wedding cake! The cake was a five-layer masterpiece with a delicate quilted design and white and ivory flowers spilling over each tier. Celebrity cake baker Sylvia Weinstock designed this dessert to match the decadent venue. Although the towering confection was clearly the star, dessert-lover Sofia couldn't limit the reception sweets to just cake! The rest of the spread featured The Breakers Resort's special sundaes (vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream, of course) in gilded fluted cups made of dark chocolate. Toppings included marinated berries and pink hearts that read "Joe Loves Sofia"--making everyone awe as they eat!

Literally, one of the best celebrity weddings we've seen in a while. Much recognition to those involved in putting on this epic weekend. Way to devour the details! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Manganiello. Wishing you many years of love and happiness, cheers!
