August Tap Takeovers at City Tap

In August, City Tap House will team up with three of their favorite breweries for a series of summertime tap takeovers.

Collective Arts Brewing’s “Painting on the Patio Pop-Up” – August 6 from 7-10pm:
Collective Arts Brewing, the Ontario-based grassroots beer company fusing the craft of brewing with the inspired talents of emerging artists & musicians, will be in the house for a night of brews, live music and an appreciation for the arts. While Joe Marino from Summer Sunsets play a live set and East Longmeadow’s own Dan McKeever live paints on the patio, sip on Collective Arts’ liquid masterpieces including Ransack the Universe IPA, Hazy State, Surround Sound, Guava Gose and Circle the Sun, an apple-cherry cider.

“Getaway to Our House” with Cisco Brewers – August 21 from 5-7pm:
Cape Cod Oysters and Cisco Brewers will be crossing the bridge to the mainland for a reverse summer getaway. With complimentary oysters, beer tastings and live music on City Tap’s fire pit-lined patio, sunset seekers will sip on Shark Tracker and Cisco’s newest IPA – the namesake of the event – Getaway on draught ($7 each) with Gripah and Whale’s Tale available by the can ($5 each). In addition to swag giveaways, Cisco Brewers also will be showcasing its vodka brand, Triple Eight Distillery, with specialty cocktails.

Captain Lawrence Tap Takeover – August 28 from 5-9pm:
Straight out of New York, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company will traveling to #RedSoxNation for a tap takeover with some of their most sought-after creations that had limited availability in Massachusetts. With live vocals by Please Respond, the Hudson Valley craft brewery will tap Galactic Dog, Tears of Green, American Funk, Hylo and their dessert-laced collaboration with Carvel, Cookie O’Puss.
