Being a recent college grad and in my early 20's, an 'Ugly Sweater Party' is a drunken holiday must. I've seen all kinds from dorm rooms to pub crawls to house parties. This commercial, however, makes me want to get a group of my closest friends, throw them in the ugliest of sweaters, and go skating until we can skate no longer. I know this would involve a lack of alcohol for safety purposes but there's always the after-party, right?
Now, you can rent ice typically at any of your local public skating rinks. It's usually a reasonable price for a 2-4 hour rental at these rinks. There's also those awesome outdoor rinks that will be around all winter long, like the one at Patriot Place and Worcester Common Oval.
