Free Fridays Treat by Highland Street

The Highland Street Foundation is committed to addressing the most pressing needs and concerns for children and families in Massachusetts and California. They provide access and opportunities in education, housing, mentorship, health care, environment, and the arts. Established in 1989 by David J. McGrath, Jr., the Foundation has contributed more than $170 million to hundreds of remarkable non-profit organizations and continues to grow their community involvement. Their largest initiative recognized across New England is the Free Fun Fridays program that happens each summer.

Free Fun Fridays offer visitors no-cost admission to many of the most treasured cultural venues in Massachusetts. This program was created to increase access and enrichment opportunities for children and families throughout New England during the summer months. Every Friday, from the end of June through the end of August, multiple sites are open for free. The Highland Street Foundation reaches out to schools, veterans groups, libraries, seniors centers, and many other community organizations to ensure that everyone knows that they are also welcome!
