B/SPOKE, the fitness destination and lifestyle brand, has committed its 2019 fundraising efforts to help charity: water build clean water projects around the world. charity: water is a non-profit organization that is bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. In just over ten years, they’ve funded more than 29,000 water projects in 26 developing countries that can improve health, boost local economies, empower women, and give kids more time in school. With the B/SPOKE community and its far-reaching networks, B/SPOKE’s goal is to fund four wells, a $50,000 total investment.
This Saturday, March 23rd, B/SPOKE will host Cycle for Water, a 3-hour cycling marathon from 12:00PM-3:00PM. B/SPOKE hopes to have 35 teams, one for every bike in the studio, to ensure that they reach and exceed their fundraising goals.
Cycle for Water will be led by six B/SPOKE instructors, and team members can swap on and off their bike as they like during the continuous 3-hour event. The doors to the studio will remain open to anyone who would like to cheer and support. There will also be giveaways, refreshments and an after-party to celebrate the team’s cycling triumph and fundraising accomplishment.
