This Memorial Day weekend, there’s no need to hightail it out of the City to Nantucket for Figawi; City Tap House is transforming into the “Fort Point Nantucket” with the help of Cisco Brewers. For three straight days and nights, Cisco Brewers will turn City Tap’s coveted patio into a replica of its microbrewery on Nantucket complete with a 60-foot American flag, branded umbrellas and swag, lawn games, seafood specials and summer sips - and we are SO excited!
With live music each day including Nantucket’s own Aldous Collins, nationalistic revelers can test their hand at cornhole in a beer-fueled tournament. There will also be oversized Jenga. From the kitchen, $1 raw oysters will be freshly shucked, $2 shrimp cocktail will be jumbo, and the lobster rolls ($22) will be blissfully stuffed. On the liquid side, there are icy buckets of Cisco’s Summer of Lager and Gripah grapefruit IPA (5 cans/$25); a pint of Cisco’s Shark Tracker ($6.50); vodka-spiked Blueberry Lemonade ($10); a Cisco Shandy with lemonade, Grey Lady and blueberry vodka ($10); and Triple 88820, a canned vodka-soda ($10).
Cisco Brewers will also be handing out “golden tickets” where winners will score an island getaway. How awesome is that?! Admission is complimentary. Food & beverage specials available at a la carte pricing. $1 pricing for oysters available with a minimum order of 12; $2 pricing for jumbo shrimp cocktail available with a minimum order of six.
Skip the ferry this weekend and head straight to the City for Figawi at Fort Point and devour the details of island life without having to venture to Nantucket! See you there. Cheers!
