StrEATS: Do Dinner Differently

Looking to go out for dinner but don't really want to hit up the same old boring restaurants or take-out? Well check this out! Last summer, Executive Producer Anne-Maire Aigner, recognized there was a lack of food truck activity in Boston at night. Throughout the day, people are able to stop by one of the many gourmet food trucks vending in Boston for a bite as they are wildly popular but as soon as 4pm rolls around, it's not as easy to find them. Thus, Boston StrEATS was born! Produced by Food Truck Festivals of America, in cooperation with Blackstone/Franklin Square Neighborhood Association and Washington Gateway Main Street, Boston StrEATS became the first weekly evening food truck program in Boston. Snaps for Anne-Maire!

Boston StrEATS launched in Franklin Square in the South End. Starting with a total of six food trucks at the beginning, they grew the event to eight trucks. The program was so popular and well-received that they are back in Franklin Square this year and are branching out this season to other communities in and around Boston! You can catch Boston StrEATS in Somerville, Cambridge and back to the South End all summer long!

Somerville StrEATS

In fact, starting tomorrow night in Somerville, you will be able to join some of the area’s top local food trucks every Tuesday starting at 5pm at Nathan Tufts Park in Powder House Square. Featured are handmade pastry pockets from Papi's Stuffed Sopapillas, mouthwatering Vietnamese from Bon Me, modern Middle Eastern from Chubby Chickpea, Teriyaki entrees from Teri-Yummy, and homemade ice cream sandwiches from Frozen Hoagies. And to top it all off, there will be a beer garden at each event. Enjoy a dinner game-changer with these devour the detail worthy food trucks!
