Wedding Fever: Dia de Los Muertos

Skulls, tequila, and candles, oh my.. some say love never dies. Here are some fun details to incorporate if you're having a Dia de Los Muertos themed wedding.

Gorgeous boutonnieres can be used to carryout this festive theme. I think this is extremely unique and hope to come up with something as creative for my own wedding.

For the reception, I would absolutely come in with the traditional face makeup. Its importance and meaning adds to the theme and makes the night very special and memorable.

Set a hauntingly joyous atmosphere by using a number of candles in all shapes and sizes.

Incorporate strings of little skulls into your floral arrangements. These can even be more colorful to really draw attention to the centerpieces.

Design a cake that displays the theme elegantly for all to enjoy.

For your guests, have a small bottle of tequila at each seat displaying personalized labels to take home. Great idea!

Create a station where your guests can paint their own Dia de Los Muertos skulls to also take home with them. A great token to remember your beautiful day.

Last but not least, add a skull train to the 'Just Married' getaway car. A cute way to show all your theme.

Devour the details Dia de Los Muertos style with these great ways to incorporate this festive theme into your wedding!
