The Red Raven

The Red Raven in Acton, MA is a quaint and truly unique gastropub with delectable dishes, an array of spirits, special releases, brewery collaborations, and just plain hard to find beers, and amazing wines from local and boutique wineries. The Red Raven's mission is to provide elevated food, freshly prepared in our scratch kitchen, maintaining purveyors of local produce, sustainable seafood, and humanely raised meat and poultry as often as possible. They are also taking the experience to another level by providing their unique selection of beer, wine, and cocktails to enjoy alongside the food.

Recently, Phantom Gourmet featured Red Raven (after I just ate there) and gave them a great review. Here is there brief observation "Red Raven is an energetic eatery sporting a festive bar with a two story fireplace, waterside dining when the weather is nice, and a gorgeous bistro style dining room." Check out what else they had to say here. And if you want to know what I thought - it was amazing. We went for Sunday brunch (which includes Chicken and Waffles on the menu) and had a Grecian-style omelette, home fries, and brioche toast. It was a great meal.

The Red Raven has some great events coming up this fall, starting with a Halloween party. Friday night, October 31, 9pm to midnight, live music, no cover, costume contest and special libations for this spooky occasion; "Eat, drink, and be scary!". Then for Thanksgiving they will be hosting a Thanksgiving Eve party with live music and Thanksgiving Day dinner. My favorite event they will be hosting is their Great Gatsby inspired New Year's Eve party. Dress code is retro roaring 20's and you can expect a delicious Four Course Prix Fixe Dinner followed by an evening of good music and celebration. Ticket includes late night buffet and champagne toast at Midnight! Purchase tickets a head of time here.

So if you're ever in Acton, I highly recommend checking them out and devouring every last bit of the details at this soon-to-be infamous gastropub.
