Monday Mashups: Ropes and Rivers

Happy belated Monday Mashup! Hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend. If you follow my social media accounts, you may know what I did yesterday. But if not, I highly recommend checking these places out. We started at the Monkey Trunks rope course and zip line in Chocorua, New Hampshire and then cooled off at the Rocky Gorge off the Kancamagus Highway. An adventurous mashup for sure.

Monkey Trunks began in June 2008 in Chocorua/North Conway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The goal was to create an adventure experience that would be fun for all ages. The course provides exciting challenges at up to 65 feet from the ground. Today, they have multiple locations including Weirs Beach, NH and Saco, ME. Mentally and physically challenging, this was a great experience for all of us!

Rocky Gorge is an easy walk along the Swift River that takes you over a over a foot bridge across the Swift River and takes you to a viewing area where there are informational postings about the gorge. Falls pond is a picturesque pond surrounded by the dense White Mountain National Forest. Rocky Gorge offers a 10' drop and rapids through the gorge. With tons of rocks to layout on and catch some rays, a dip in the gorge was truly refreshing! Not to mention, the sites were absolutely beautiful.

So visit New Hampshire while it's still warm and devour the details of your next Monday Mashup with these awesome adventures!
