Wedding Wednesdays: When Weddings Get Casual

Here at Devour the Details, we can't get enough of the hottest wedding trends. This installment of Wedding Wednesdays features some tux-less groomsmen and the more casual look of today's wedding party.

We adore a good suit and tie but this new polished yet laid-back look is really making us swoon. We love this idea for a casual backyard affair, a rustic country celebration or a cool urban soiree at an historic industrial space. A word of advice though, the more casual you go, the more you need to dress it up with very put-together details.

Even though it's casual, sneakers are definitely out (unless you're thinking of doing the adorable high-top Converse idea, then we say go for it!). Go for a nice pair of oxfords or brogues instead and make sure shirt tails are tucked in, keeping that polished look. Add a tie, vest or blazer to pull it all together.

Corduroys are a fantastic way to switch up your wedding style. We love the various shades used amongst these groomsmen. It creates a fun visual at the alter.

Tweed and denim is a perfect combination. Even the ring bearer will pull it off flawlessly!
