Good Eats: What's New This Spring/Summer

We are always hungry. And I mean always. So when we come across new restaurants opening near us, we always have to share them with our readers (in case you're as hungry as we are). Spring and summer are the perfect seasons for restaurants to open, especially if they provide outdoor seating. Between tourists and the locals, we're predicting these good eats to have a line around the block for a taste of these chefs' talent. So when you're in and around Boston during the nicer weather months, keep these fine establishments in mind and you'll never go hungry!

The Parlor Ice Cream Co.

http://www.parlorboston.co/about/

The Parlor Ice Cream Co. is a locally sourced and small batch ice cream company based right here in Boston, MA. They will offer curious combinations that push the boundaries of expected and unexpected flavors, all while featuring the best and freshest ingredients New England has to offer. The Parlor Ice Cream Co. is available for restaurant wholesale, home delivery and private events starting in May 2016. We can't wait to taste and take home some of their unexpected creations!

Mamaleh's Delicatessen

Mamaleh’s is a Jewish deli opening in Kendall Square from the folks at Hungry Mother. Hungry Mother closed over the summer, but the team (minus chef Barry Maiden) is hard at work setting up this deli, which will be open at One Kendall Square this spring. The sit-down restaurant will also include a market and a gift shop so you can stock up for lunch all week. Head there for classics like pastrami, corned beef, and matzo ball soup. You know you'll see us there!

Bar Mezzana

Bar Mezzana is slated to open in the spring at 360 Harrison Ave. inside the Ink Block complex. This “coastal Italian restaurant” will feature what Executive Chef Colin Lynch calls simple food with “beautiful ingredients, thoughtful technique, and heart”; our favorite kind of cuisine. We can't wait to be transported to the Amalfi Coast at this soon-to-be South End sensation.

Roxy's at Market Street and A4CADE

Roxy's Grilled Cheese which started out as a local (phenomenal) food truck and now two brick and mortar locations, will be opening two more establishments this summer! We are jumping up and down with excitement! One location will be at the ever so popular Market Street in Lynnfield and the other in collaboration with Area Four in Cambridge. And yes, the Area Four restaurant and bar will also have an arcade, hence the name A4CADE. Better reserve a table for us now, we're moving in!

Couldn't be more hungry right now! Join us in the feast of all feasts this spring/summer and devour the details of these restaurant openings. We ensure you'll never go hungry again!
